Koati is born from a history rooted in tradition and a passion for quality clothing. It all began in 1983, when Costafil, Lda, a clothing factory located in Portugal, began its activity producing high-quality polo shirts for several renowned brands. This manufacturing experience, combined with rigorous quality control, allowed us to develop a deep knowledge of the materials, techniques and trends that best suited each piece.

In 2008, after 25 years of creating for others, the opportunity arose to create my own brand. This is how Koati was born, a project designed to take Portuguese quality and style even further. From the very first day, Koati stood out for the durability and comfort of its products, quickly gaining public recognition and expanding to over 200 multi-brand stores across the country. Each Koati piece is designed with a purpose: to offer elegance and quality that stands the test of time.

In 2019, with the brand already consolidated, Koati underwent a rebranding process, renewing its image to reflect the spirit of modernity and the ambition to continue to be a reference in the sector. The new logo and visual communication of the brand were designed to reflect the quality and sophistication of our products, now with a touch of contemporary that responds to the tastes of the modern consumer.
